FUERTE VENTURA (Canary Island, ESP). Feb 2020. Usual winter training camp has been staged this year in Fuerte Ventura instead of Tenerife. Main focus of camp was to prepare first event of 2020 season planned in Bandar Abbas (Iran).
"We had the opportunity to have some trainings with Klasnic/Milic (SRB) team who was very kind allowing us to join them during their daily session. We did a very hard job all over the week and weather assisted us with sun & not too much windy conditions"
BUDAPEST (HUNGARY). Aug 2019. "Finally we play well despite match lost - said Emanuele Monduzzi - we did a good job with our coach Gabriele Mazzotti and we'd like to go ahead in this project with Giorgio Zauli playing in Fivb World Star 1 Star events".
In the first round of Qualifications Kazmareck-Sdebel (POL) defeated Zauli/Monduzzi 2-0 (21-15, 21-15), thereafter Poland team qualified to Main Draw defeating Samec/Kufa CZE.
PINARELLA, ROMAGNA, ITALY. Jul 2019. Finally "We play home!" Great honour to represent Italy and Club PowerBeach at FIVB WORLD TOUR 1 STAR INEMILIA ROMAGNA PRESENTED BY BPER, international event organized by sport company PowerBeach.
Emanuele Monduzzi and Giorgio Zauli started from Main Draw and ranked 13th loosing against RUS (Hudyakov/Velichko) and CZE (Sramec/Gala) in pool play.
"It's was a great honour to play such event at home and in special way in team with Giorgio Zauli whom I'm condidering one of the best player ever from our area. We know we have tought matches but in specal way against Czech we honoured our shirt".
QUARTEIRA (PORTUGAL). July 2019. Emanuele Monduzzi with Federico Morichelli ranked 13th at international Cev Wevza Zonal event valid for Fivb ranking.
BIBIONE (ITALY). June 2019. Emanuele Monduzzi with Federico Morichelli attended to the italian championship for beach volleyball clubs issued by FIPAV - Italiana Volleyball Federation - representing his club PowerBeach.
PowerBeach team got thruogh qualification pool but was not able to reach quarter finals loosing against team leaded by Paolo Ficosecco.
RAVENNA (ITALY). May 2019. PowerBeach, sport company to which belongs Emanuele Monduzzi, has recently confirmed that they are going to stage FIVB WORLD TOUR 1 STAR MEN next 25-28 July 2019 in Pinarella di Cervia few kilometers far from Ravenna, Emanuele Monduzzi's hometown!!!
Despite several points will be needed just to be in Qualification Touranement, Emanuele Monduzzi will partecipate. Team-mate is still under defination.
BANDAR ANZALI (IRAN). Oct 2018. After more than 6.200 days Emanuele Monduzzi is back to a Fivb World Tour Main Draw. Emanuele Monduzzi and Antonio Basti ranked 13° in Word Tour 1 Star held on Caspian Sea in Bandar Anzali. Monduzzi-Basti were defeated by Sidorenko-Dyachenko KAZ and Pokersnik-Plahutnik SLO in pool matches both match for 0-2.
"I'm really happy to be back to Main Draw after several attempts and after so many days - said Emanuele Monduzzi after long trip back to Italy - but now it's time to do an upgrade each single match"
LJUBJANA (SLOVENJIA). Aug 2018. Good match for Emanuele Monduzzi and Antonio Basti during World Tour 1 Star held in Slovenjia. Italian team has been defeated during qualification by Norway team Helland-Gamlemoen for 1-2 (15-21, 21-11, 8-15) in a very tight match.
"Finally I've played better, despite very deep sand we were able to play a good beach volley even if we did some mistakes - said Emanuele Monduzzi - Congratulations to our opponent that decided to drastically force service in third set getting profit with this tactic"
MARINA DI RAVENNA (ITALY). July 2018. It should be the most important event of the whole season but at the end it was a disaster for Monduzzi / Passoni team during WEVZA Men Beach Volleyball International Tournament stage at Coco Loco in Marina di Ravenna. Monduzzi/Passoni were defeated by Zauli/Rizzi for 0-2 (7-21, 4-21) and then by Boesso/Gabriele 0-2 (10-21, 11-21).
"I can easily add match against Rizxi/Zauli in my worst game ever - said Emanuele Monduzzi - we are very very uppset, we were happy to be back but honestly speaking we were thinking to be better"
Porec (CROATIA). July 2018. Monduzzi / Passoni are back!!! Emanuele Badà Monduzzi and Lorenzo Lollo Passoni played together 2010 and 2011 beach volleyball season qualifying twice to the main draw of european championship. This new beginning was not succesfull since ITA team was brutally defeated by AUT team composed by olympian Alexander Sandi Huber and Simon Baldauf 0-2 (10-21, 8-21) during World Tour 1 Star held in Porec in Croatia. Go ahead for next tournament.
Muscat (OMAN). Mar 2018. Emanuele Monduzzi and Antonio Basti were eliminated by iranian team Salagh/Mirzaali in one way match for 0-2 (11-21, 10-21) in Fivb World Tour 1Star currently staged in Muscat (Oman).
Good experience for italian team despite last minute arrival in the Middle East due to repechage from Reserve List to Qualification.
Sydney (AUS). Emanuele Monduzzi and teammate Matteo Galli played qualification in Fivb World Tour 2 Star held in Sydney, Australia, last November losing against USA (0-2: 7-21, 16-21). For the first time in his career Monduzzi attended to an event in far east.
Montpellier (FRA). Emanuele Monduzzi and teammate Fabio Matteoni played qualifications in Fivb World Tour 1 Star held in Montpellier last September losing against ENG (0-2: 19-21, 14-21). Despite defeat, the players beloning to PowerBeach, sport company managing this group of athletes, are strengthening their position in world ranking.
Marina di Ravenna (ITA). Emanuele Monduzzi is back to competition playing qualification in Cev Wevza event planned last 28-29-30 July 2017 in Marina di Ravenna (Italy), competition valid for Fivb world ranking points. Monduzzi/Matteoni lost qualification match vs Metral/Hagenbuch (SUI).
Following serious injury occured last March 2016, Emanuele Monduzzi has processed his application in order to recuperate international points for FIVB World Ranking as per Sport Regulations.
FIVB, international governing body fro beach volleyball, has approved application and so Emanuele Monduzzi is back on international world ranking, currently stated at 639°!
